Is God OK with the Devil's music?

Club 3 Degrees
In Today's City Pages, writer Mary O' Regan takes readers inside Club 3 Degrees, the state-of-the-art rock 'n' roll club in downtown Minneapolis. The club is the nation's largest Christian concert hall, and its punk-rock "ministry" (it is funded and operated by a non-denominational Suburban church called Living Word) was the first of its kind in the country.

There have been a number of articles about Club 3 Degrees since its founding four years ago. But no one asks the really hard question: Can Christians kick it as hard as their secular colleagues? Without sex and drugs, is it really rock (or hip-hop)? Please cite examples to illustrate your view. You may pick up your pencils now...

There are a few of the biggest Xtian bands that have crossed over: like POD and Jars of Clay, EVEN U2. Inevitably, tho, it seems like these bands become less and less religious as they gain more mainstream exposure. wonder why? they must hit the "stained glass ceiling."
