The band uniform!

Not since the days of grunge with its "unofficial" uniform of flannel and denim have we seen so many bands trying to look smart, look good--and most important--look like a cohesive unit. This trend was bigger than one post... we had to keep adding to the list.

The band name that is a complete sentence!

This became such a ubiquitous trend in 2006 that we once offered a quiz wherein readers ably distinguished the dependent clauses from the hortatory exclamations. Not every band name can be as memorable as "Now It's Overhead," or "I Love You But I've Chosen Darkness," but somebody still loves you, Boris Yeltsin!
