And no one is surprised.

Those keeping score might be surprised though to learn that our transplanted hometown heroes did not top the list of Pitchfork's year-end roundup—despite the big ad dollars that were thrown at the Fork, and the twenty-odd articles the Fork kicked back. (All that commotion was good for fifth.)

After you're done lighting the seventh candle, or putting those last few presents under the trees, or drinking the last of the nog tonight, tune in to David Letterman.
