It's been a while since we picked up a copy of Mpls-St.Paul magazine. Mainly because we are not yet a 54-year-old woman worth $800K living in Edina.

Anyhoo, at their recently revamped website, they've posted high-quality video of two notable local bands, The Gang Font and Trampled By Turtles. To put it mildly, these are two groups one wouldn't normally associate with Top Doctors, Super Lawyers, Kinkaid's restaurant, nor any of the other Twin Cities icons we've come to know and love in the express checkout at Byerlys and Lunds. They must be putting the book together with awfully strong glue these days, because offgassing is the only explanation

We hear Minnesota Stories' Chuck Olsen is behind the camera. Which can only lead to one question: How long before the men in suits come and shut down this delightfully off-brand subversion?
