Haley Bonar, by Cameron Witting
Haley Bonar had a nice chat with Sarah over at City Pages today. Among other things, Haley revisits her "lost years" in South Dakota, her aborted college career, and her other "creative hobbies."
I don't do much else creatively, except maybe cooking or baking. I like to color in fairy tale coloring books, too, but I guess that's not really that creative.

When we consider Haley's many creative gifts, we think it's probably enough that she plays heartbreaking alt-folk, bakes a mean loaf of sourdough, and gives Cinderella life.

As it happens, the good people of the American Southwest seem to agree. On her MySpace page, Haley let's us know she's getting out of town while that embarrassing City Pages article is in circulation:

well, it's that time again—time to "git 'r dun".... tour style...

me, luke anderson, and chris morrissey hit the trail again this thursday to play in Norman, Oklahoma and then proceed out west for a couple weeks.

It's not clear from this blog entry whether they'll be playing any warmup dates for Larry the Cable Guy, but stranger things have happened.
