Time magazine has published its all-TIME greatest 100 albums. (Clever, huh?)
We know you're worried about whether this list reflects the sensible will of the people or the pretentious will of the critics, so we'll get this out of the way right here: A cursory review suggests that music snobs were responsible. (Hey, we love P.J. Harvey's "Stories" and Pavement's "Slanted" as much as the next guy; but two of the best records of all time, with no Pink Floyd representing? That's a willful slap in the face to Democracy.)
The only other thing we would add is this: Funny how five of the ten best albums of the 2000s weren't even recorded in the 2000s. They are re-released collections of Hank Williams, Elvis Presley, Sam Cooke, and Muddy Waters. That seems a little... uh, let's choose our words carefully here..... lame.
And beyond that, the most important question is this: Can this issue of Time outsell perennial favorites like Yoga and Jesus?

According to our friends over at Pitchfork, the Pride of Arizona have actually put together a program of a half-dozen more post-modern classics by Thom Yorke and his front four, all waiting to be dug up like potatoes over at YouTube.
We hear Mankato State is working up a version of Stereolab's "Wow and Flutter."
