    There must be something about coming down with debilitating ailments when a band plays a show in the Twin Cities. It was a similar situation last fall when the New Pornographers/Destroyer show was canceled when the Pornos bassist came down with appendicitis the night before the show....it was never rescheduled. The New Pornographers eventually did come back in support of Belle & Sebastian this spring, but damn, would I have liked to have seen that show at First Ave.
