Can You Identify The Whiskery Rock Star?

Over at the Strib, Chris Riemenschneider looks into the Alarmists, the Twin Cities' hot young "suburban brit-poppers," and finds the band strangely obsessed with facial hair.

"'I think you sing better with a moustache,' guitarist Ryan McMillan jokes. There's jealousy behind McMillan's barb, though: The blond mop-topped guitarist can't yet grow so much as a decent pencil-stache. He has watched from the sidelines as three of the other four Alarmists simultaneously grew new facial hair over the past month."

Which of course got us thinking: Great moustaches of rock? There aren't that many that immediately spring to mind. Here's what we came up with last night, as we were getting into our jammies:1...2...3...4...5...6

    Funny story(kinda')...When I was a young lad in a rock n roll band we had a young blonde drummer who I guess,wanted to be hirsuite like his fellow bandmates.So..since he couldn't grow it on his own ,he sent away for a fake mustache and sideburns that he saw advertised in the back of a magazine.
    He showed up at Dove studios with this,like,carpet on his face.

    If this can get extended other facial hair, I think Scott Ian's goatee deserves some credit.
