A Remake Nobody Knew They Wanted

The Walkmen have finished work on a unique project: They recorded a song-for-song recreation of the 1974 album "Pussy Cats" by Harry Nilsson. That album was notable because it was produced by John Lennon during his "lost weekend," which was actually more of an 18-month bender. "Pussy Cats" makes it pretty clear that Nilsson and Lennon were having an awfully good time, and the word is that The Walkmen recaptured that spirit nicely--without ever having to hookup with and then separate from Yoko Ono.

I've pretty much been doing nothing worth mentioning. I haven't gotten anything done today. I haven't been up to much , but oh well. I've just been staying at home waiting for something to happen, but so it goes. Pfft.
