It's not clear why the BBC is celebrating "30 years of Punk Rock Insubordination" today—given that throughout this article, they locate the genesis of aforementioned "Punk Rock Insubordination" to the "early seventies."
Also, do you recognize the band in the photo above? If so, email us. The BBC's caption: "Probably the most famous punk group of them all." We feel like idiots, but that is most certainly NOT the Sex Pistols, the Clash, Iggy and the Stooges, nor the Ramones. On the upside, at least they talked to Punk magazine founder John Holmgren, who we feel is the man who coined the name of the movement.

We've been fielding entries for several geeky lists: Band names inspired by literature, band names inspired by films, and band names that are complete sentences. Well, we almost forgot about this band.
They Shoot Horses Don't They? That's a complete sentence, a book, and a film! And the power number? They're Canadian! It's gonna be a helluva weekend, innit?!
