It's been a couple of weeks since her trip to South By Southwest, but producer Megan Huber is still buoyant after a packed world premiere for the Minnesota-made "Four Boxes." There were similarly packed houses for the other two screenings too.
Huber says it was fun to see how the film played in front of a crowd, and also work out what the audience is for their movie. It's being billed as a "Rear Window" for the internet, and so it's not surprising who Huber picked out.
"Guys who are younger than us loved the move," she laughs "Nerds. I'm just going to say it: Nerds love "Four Boxes."
The Four Boxes crew had planned a Minneapolis screening in a few weeks, but now have scored an invitation to the Minneapolis St Paul International Film Festival. Huber says it makes sense to do the local premiere in an atmosphere where everyone is talking film.
The screening will be on Wednesday 29th April at St Anthony Main just after 7pm.
