Thursday notes: Maven, Morris, and MSPIFF

Morris:The Errol Morris interview is up on the web, both in short and long form.
Maven:Also listen out tomorrow at noon on the Midday program for the Movie Maven, Stephanie Curtis, looking ahead to summer movies.
MSPIFF:The final numbers on the Minneapolis St Paul International Film Festival are out. The event sold more than 24,000 tickets. A release from Minnesota Film Arts includes a lot of other impressive numbers: A total of 156 features screened from 46 countries, including 39 U.S. premieres. There were a total of 254 screenings including 30 sold-out shows, and 23 near sell-outs.
The top vote-getters in the audience polls were "Young@Heart," "Pond Hockey" and "The Betrayal" (Nerakhoon.)
All in all it seems like it was a great success.
Interestingly the Oak Street is apparently only booked through tonight, with only a few screenings scheduled for early June.
