There was a momentary frisson of excitement a few weeks ago when rumors went round that Patricia Clarkson and Chris Cooper were going to come to the Twin Cities to talk about their new movie "Married Life." Then it was just going to be Chris Cooper, then just the director Ira Sachs, and then there was a scheduling conflict and no-one came at all.
Such is the lot in life sometimes of flyoverland.
We'll just have to make do with the erudite comments of Ms Clarkson on Weekend Edition this morning with Scott Simon. He also go to talk to Dame Shirley Bassey about how she came to record the "Goldfinger" theme, which has to be one of the best Bond songs ever.
