Happy New Year

Looking forward and looking back, two major activities at New Year, are mainstays of the Scots experience. That's one of the main reasons I put together the quiz yesterday.

And looking forward? Well, I have to admit a frisson of interest in the "U2 3D" movie scheduled for opening in a few weeks, and I am a little sad that the opening of Michel Gondry's "Be Kind Rewind" has been bumped back a few weeks to February 22nd.

But the rest? It's a wide open year, and that can only be exciting.
