A moment of parental pride

As parents we all remember the milestones of our children's development: first word, first step, first time hauled up in front of the principal, that kind of thing.
Well, I witnessed one last week and frankly I'm a little tickled. Sarah-the-19-year-old sent an e-mail from college recommending a movie.
She had seen "Radiant City." It's a National Film Board of Canada and CBC collaboration using humor to tackle the issue of urban sprawl.
Sarah sent this note: "It was hilarious and informative, I would highly recommend it for you and mom if you are ever looking for a movie to get off of netflix."
It just made me so proud for some reason. And I also added it to the queue.
