I just finished up a piece on Wing Young Huie and his new book "Looking for Asian America." Huie, the photographer behind such successful projects as "Frogtown" and "Lake Street" travelled for 9 months with his wife Tara to basically look at America.
While he shot pictures, she shot video.
While I am usually not a fan of video extras for photography shows, the 90 minute movie they produced from the 40 hours of tape they gathered, is a great supplement to the book, showing as it does many of the interviews they conducted as they gathered their pictures. Check it out if you can.
