In the years since everyone's favorite 7th degree of separation Kevin Bacon made "Loverboy" into a movie. Having heard tales of how horrible some writers find the process of watching their books become films, I asked Redel how it had worked for her. She surprised me by saying it had been a great experience.
She said she had been prepared to just let everything go. However she says Bacon and his crew were great to work with and she had felt included all along the way.
She also admitted she's now watched the film many more times than she has re-read the book, and every time she does she says she sees something new. You can listen to her talk about it here.
