Thanksgiving: Thanks to everyone who has already sent in suggestions for the annual Thanksgiving Film Festival. There is still time to leave your thoughts. I am also curious about any other Thanksgiving film traditions people may have.

"Babel:" Thanks too to Neil N. who added some interesting perspective to the "Babel" pronunciation conversation.

Janus: And let me finally admit I have been salivating at the amazing compilation Janus Films is releasing to celebrate its 50th anniversary. It contains 50 classic films including masterpieces by Bergman, Kurosawa, Eistenstein, and Hitchcock amongst a huge swath of others.
It costs $650 at present on-line and has a suggested retail price of $850 for the stores. It's a little rich for my blood, but it's fun just to read the title list.
