The official Vietnamese entry for the next Academy Awards, "Story of Pao," screens tonight and tomorrow at the Oak Street in Minneapolis.
The film is likely to be of great local interest as it tells the story of an ethnic Hmong girl struggling to find herself while living in a remote mountain area in northern Vietnam.
Director Ngo Quang Hai and actor Do Thi Hai Yen will attend both screenings and answer questions after the show.

please send me a copy of the movie, if you can, so i can show to the hmong people here in Fresno.
I am afraid I don't have a copy of the film, but I have forwarded your note to the movie theater where they are showing the picture asking them to pass it to the director or the distributors. Thanks for you interest!
