Riding home last evening I encountered a huge picture of Keira Knightly adorning an MCTC bus shelter. It stopped me dead.
It's an ad for the new "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest" movie.
It's a voluptuous image of a young swashbuckling woman ready to take on pirates, Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, or whatever else the world throws at her. It's very dramatic.
It's enough to maybe make you forget "Domino." Or that this is a franchise based on a theme park ride.
And somehow it's desperately out of place on a bus stop in St Paul.
Further up the hill there was a bus shelter with a biker raising money for the United Way. It just felt a little more comfortable.
