The complexities of Arab film

The Midmorning program is planning a show on Arab Film for Thursday morning at 10. It's linked to a U of M conference this week. They will feature Hisham Bizri, a filmmaker and native of Lebanon, and Yousry Nasrallah, a filmmaker who lives in Cairo, Egypt. His films include "The Gate of the Sun" and "Mercedes" which is being shown at the Walker. It should be good listening
