This Wednesday a couple of local film organizations are holding the first of what will be a monthly showcase for Minnesota filmmakers in Minneapolis. "Fearless Filmmakers" is the baby of Project Spotlight and IFP North.
Starting at 7pm, they will be showing six films at the Riverview Theater, including work by Gayle Knutson, and an excerpt from "Urban Explorers," Melody Gilbert's documentary-in-progress. The program rounds out with four original short films by directors Sarah Kruchowski, David Carter, Andy Awes and Christopher Mick. It costs $10 to get in, and that also includes the post screening party at Nochee afterwards where Afterall and Murge will perform live.
Project Spotlight is looking for films and bands for future events too. You can contact them at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have a film, or to email@example.com if you have a band interested in playing.
