State Fair: some rather large vegetables

Holy guacamole, Batman! Generation Y loves vegetables. And there are quite a patch to see at the fair this year. I was especially impressed with the snakey squash, seen in the far right in the picture.

I can't imagine how they got these pumpkins to grow so big this early in the season, and in such a dry summer. Anyone who has ever grown pumpkins knows you need to pump them with a lot of water to get any size.
