What's blooming now?

Grape flowers now open in full force.

Asiatic lilies (Lilium sp.) starting to open. Beginning of a flush that should last a few weeks.

If you saw my post on Tree peonies, you remember that I said one of mine died back to the root, but it re-grew. Now it is obvious that this tree had been grafted. The flowers are okay, but not the spectaular red-pink large blooms I had before.

Here are some intentional peonies (Paeonia sp.)

Your white bush peony stems look so hardy. Even though I have mine in a 3 foot cage they've grown past it on continued to flop. Any hints you wish to share about flop-free bush peonies?
