The other soldiers in Captain Andrew Lane's unit have given him a special nickname: Captain Planet.
With all the cruddy news coming out of Afghanistan, we went looking for an interview that would give us a little different perspective. In the middle of a war zone, Capt. Lane is pushing the army to be more genuinely "green."
He called us in the middle of the night (he keeps odd hours, I guess) to answer a few questions about it:
