Sure, we've all heard of the Blue Dogs. But how about the New Democrat Coalition? The Tuesday Group? The Republican Study Committee?
All the attention on the Blue Dog Democrats hints at this important -- but kind of hidden -- world of coalitions and caucuses that affect so much of the dynamic in the nation's capitol.
For the latest podcast, we called Molly Hooper, a reporter for the Capitol Hill newspaper "The Hill," to talk about how these groups work and how important they are. Give 'er a play:
