Facebook has changed the world as we know it.
Not only is the site massively popular (Facebook reached 250 million users recently), but it's become a global address book, photo album and bathroom wall all rolled into one. It's the place where the public mind goes to gab . . . and thanks to it's relationship status feature, Governor Mark Sanford can now just say "it's complicated" and we all know what he means.

Mezrich's book comes with a side controversy over how true to the tale it is. But it also has some neat details of how a brilliant idea turned into a billion dollar company.
