Okay, not all blind people. But when we spoke with Alena Roberts, a blind blogger from Corvallis, Oregon, she said that Facebook and her don't get along. She uses a text to speech program that lets her surf the web without seeing the web. But facebook is one of those sites that is too cluttered and loads too slowly for her to easily navigate.
That's one example of bad technology for the blind. But Alena digs up stories of good and often mind-blowingly cool tech-stuff that helps blind people do all kinds of things . . . from driving cars without vision to using your tongue to see the world.
