YouTube is full of solitary folks rapping, strumming, singing, drumming. Each one in their own micro-universe making noise for nobody . . . until now.
THRU YOU takes snippets of YouTube songs and syncs them together in a mega jamboree. It's like Girl Talk, if instead of hip-hop and 90's pop he used the Numa Numa guy.
There's something really joyful in seeing all these people work together. It reminds me of the X-Men, where individually their powers are kind of useless, but as a team they are unstoppable. YouTube is full of mutants, each with their own strange gift, and THRU YOU is like the webvideo version of Professor X. Check it out:
