Free-hand Franken

Not taking sides here. But this is too...impressive? bizarre? just plain fascinating? ... not to post.
U.S. Senate Candidate Al Franken can draw a map of the entire U.S. free-hand. When did he learn that while working for Saturday Night Live? (Is it some stoner trick I've just never heard of?)
Stick with it until at least halfway through, when you can hear the crowd at this small-town fundraiser actually "boo" the state of Texas.
Went looking for Norm Coleman talents...bowling, maybe?
So...wait. Did he bring hockey back or something?
Why is this ad even in a bowling alley?
