Like Jeff said, we’re talking a lot about democracy at the office these days. It’s hard, after a day of batting around rational apathy , not to wonder: Why bother?
I mean, really. When you could gamble instead?
Slate announced this week that it will provide regular updates of the political prediction markets this season... because sometimes, they’re more accurate in forecasting our next president than the best of pundits. Should we all watch? Or is that, somehow, cheating?
