As if desegregation and anonymous gay sex have anything to do with one another, Newsweek has compiled a helpful history slideshow of controversial events that transpired in bathrooms.

From George Michael to Palestinian terrorists to Abner Louima, see why Larry Craig is just the latest in a long line of people to make their name in the john.
