For our upcoming January show, we considering the evolution of media, and perhaps the news media in particular. Hoping to get my gears turning, I listened back to a Friday Midmorning show on the past year in the news media, with Jeffrey Dvorkin and Alex Jones (my college thesis advisor, BTW).
Here's what we're thinking about: How are we being shaped by our media diet? Are we getting fat and lazy when it comes to information? Smarter? Addicted to media "junk food?" How is what we are being shaped by the way we're consuming information?
