It has been just over one year since a one-time show called "The Loop" first showed up on a Friday night on MPR. Four "pilots" later, I'm just so darn happy to announce that The Loop will air monthly starting September 22.We will be taping the show before a live audience the evening of September 21 -- watch the site or listen for more details. Attending the taping is free, of course!
I'll be hosting and producing the show full-time, along with assistant producer Sanden Totten, whose work you have heard on The Loop. Beyond that, our ever-important network of collaborators -- you -- will be deeply important.
For now we're busy thinking about themes for the next show, and you can help. We want topics in the news, but broad enough to allow us to branch off into stories of everyday life.
Example: "Security" is one we're thinking about. What else should we be considering?
