< Quiet now, floor-a-palooza later | Main | Environment on the hot seat >

For the first time in MFL history, we're doing a double floor-a-palooza today. If the Senate takes up SF3363, the state budget information bill which includes that inflation provision that gives the governor nightmares, we'll do a floor-a-palooza. For the House, if it takes up HF3195, the cap-and-trade bill, we'll have a floor-a-palooza there too.

Check back for updates through the day.

UPDATE: The Senate took it up, and actually processed it pretty quickly. Only a handful of lawmakers spoke, and there were nowhere near the fireworks the Commish was hoping for. If I find another one on General Orders that will evoke some emotion from you're lawmakers, we'll do another today.

I'm eager to see what the House makes of the cap & trade bill. I sat through the senate environmental committee discussion of it. what an enlightening view of our government in action. it was for a graduate policy class, and several of my classmates attended other senate & house committees for the same bills.
