MFL: The video

Posted at 10:37 AM on March 23, 2007 by Bob Collins (4 Comments)

You know, there've been quite a few stories, and a few TV pieces on the Minnesota Fantasy Legislature, but I think the best one yet is one that Channel 12 in Anoka County the northern suburbs, aired last night. Reporter John Lauritsen interviewed me on Wednesday, but what makes it interesting is (a) he talked to legislators and (b) he related it to March Madness.

It's a very entertaining piece and he says you can see it for a month here.

I hope we see more of Lauritsen . He's clearly a talented guy.

Bob,

They, cable 12, cover the northwest subs: Robbinsdale, Golden Valley, Plymouth, Maple Grove, and my town Crystal to name a few. I love their daily news cast, and their coverage of local politics is pretty decent. They do a good, balanced job at election time of getting statements from all candidates.

I keep thinking about trying to get them to do a political show, like at issue or almanac.

Bob, that was sweet! I loved the comparison to March Madness.

What, no prize? Not even some MFL logo swag? Geez, that's worse than those $50 pledge drive coffee mugs. :(

Go Carriers!
