HF293 grabs some points

Posted at 11:57 AM on February 26, 2007 by Bob Collins

The House this morning passed HF293, appropriating money for natural resources and the environment. The vote was 121-6. TF (to floor) and FP (floor passage) votes today to Reps. Tingelstad, Wagenius, Carlson, Ozment, Abeler, Lillie, Kalin, Ruud, McFarlane, and Erhardt. A nice mix there of DFL and GOP victors.

If you're looking for entertainment today, the House floor session has been pretty interesting, considering questions of legislative reimbursement for, say, housinghttp://www.house.leg.state.mn.us/cco/amendrules.asp?code=hrulescr-A37&ls_year=85&session_number=0&session_year=2007. It's televised and also on the Web.

The Senate this morning passed SF458, SF660, SF226, SF483. Three of the bills earned FP (floor passage) votes for Sen. Ann Rest. Sen. Jim Carlson and Sen. Linda Higgins earned 20 points each on two of the bills.
