I remember him when he was just an MFL manager

Pat Condon at the Associated Press has written a very nice piece about Fantasy Legislature and, most important, some of the managers. I stuck it up here. Unfortunately, MPR doesn't have a photo contract with the Associated Press so I haven't seen the pix that were shot of Minnetonka Redress owner/manager George Linkert, but if you should see this pop up somewhere else, send along the URL. Enjoy.
Scoring update: Tom Bakk and Dave Senjem's SF 17 (making changes to the handling of certain taxes w.r.t. the federal teacher deduction) passed the Taxes Committee and went to the Senate floor. It's poised for quick passage.
Team owners who drafted Sen. Paul Koering and Sen. Julie Rosen are going to be getting a windfall. The two Republicans are among four senators added to Linda Berglin's SF2, the bill that expands MinnesotaCare. The bill may not survive (or then again, it might) but it'll get enough traction in committees and probably on the Senate floor.
I don't think I got credited points for Vickerman's bills this week.
I guess the main one would be this one:
SF 028, which passed the Education Committee and got a second reading.
(bob notes: I don't know why I didn't give Vickerman BH, CP, TF points. Wiger did get his. But now I have. They'll be relfected the next time I update hte pages)
Quorum of Six (Maroon League)
Hey everybody! Look at me! I'm looking at... Ann Rest!
I think I'm in the same situation as Pat as to Vickerman. He was on my team (Bemidji Beavers) as of last Saturday, 1/06. Thanks. Mike

Standings, rosters, and power rankings have now been re-published with Vickerman's SF28 points.
