If you remember at the start of the year, I predicted the return of Prog Rock...although we still have to come up with another name for it. Well tonight I seem to have been on a roll with contemporary bands that have a prog touch. Got a chance to listen to the whole of the upcoming Flaming Lips and that is definitely referencing the high art, Wayne even admits it in last months Mojo. The Quasi cd is also a good example and even though I have only heard 2 songs from it the new Built To Spill will prove my point I think...be afraid!
Maybe we should call it Progressive Prog or NuProg?
