Day Two at SXSW What a bunch of mensches Sound Team were; clearly not rock and roll "bad boys" (at least not at 1pm in the afternoon). And howabout the "looovly" Nottingham accent of Nick Armstrong and ... uh, sorry, "IV Thieves." Nice guys too. Also, we had great sets from Portastatic and Jose Gonzalez. Check 'em all out on our main SXSW page (again, click on the individual artist links, and the audio can be found under "More From MPR"). What's it like being there? Again, Keith Harris is your man. I've already given props to the support team down in Austin helping to make Mary's live broadcast happen. Here's where I give props to some folks on this end: Derrick Stevens, our Production Coordinator, getting all the morning and early afternoon sessions together, and all the guys from our Operations department, connecting the wires and keeping the lines of communication open.
