I worked for Prince's insurance company about 10 years ago, when he was still using the glyph for a name. One of his employees called to ask for info but didn't have his ID#, so I had to do an alpha search for it.
Loooooong pause on my end.
Finally: "Um, exactly *what* name am I searching for?"

I don't know anyone offhand, but I used to work in Eden Prairie and he had rented a warehouse to rehearse for the "Lovesexy" Tour. We used to sit outside and eat our lunch and listen to them rehearse every day.

A girl that headed up the dancers for Sex-o-Rama@ First Ave...she was an on-call dancer for Prince's spur of the moment shindigs at Paisley Park. From what I remember she had to be ready to go at ANY time of day.
