Fantasy Band

Thanks to Solace for posting a line up of the band behind Mike Watt last night...perfect use of the Cue ol'chap!!
Got me thinking too, with Watt in the Stooges, which members would you put together to have a Fantasy Band?
Would you just pick your fave bass, guitar and drums or do they have to have some chemistry?
What about a power trio consisting of Keith Moon of The Who on drums, Talking Head Tina Weymouth on bass and Jon of Sigur Ros on guitar with bow and vox!?!? Would they go down well in Japan?!?! I think they'd be called The Right Ohs! Could we spin this off into a web based fantasy game?!?!

I'll keep this one local, based on a combination of chemistry, chops and general wackiness:
*** Vocals: Daryl Yankee (unsung karaoke superstar) *** Drums: Peter Anderson (Iffy, Polara, Matt Wilson) *** Bass: Steve Price (Rex Daisy) *** Guitars: Rich Matson (Ol' Yeller) and Prince for good measure.

Honestly, I think my fantasy band is coming true. Brendan Benson + Jack White + the Greenhornes' Jack Lawrence and Patrick Keeler? I really can't wait.

Drums: Tim Mooney
Guitar: Robin Guthrie
Bass: Peter Hook
Pedal steel: Bruce Kaphan
Vocals: Steve Kilbey

They could be called "The Murkys"

Let's have Mark E. Smith up front. Neil Young on lead, Lou Reed on rhythm. Flea on bass. Skip Spence behind the kit. Miles Davis off to the side (and facing backwards) on horns. Phil Spector in the booth and Allen Klein handling the books.

I don't know what it would sound like, but I'd be afraid to be in the same room.

I'm with Jacob on that one...I'm already obsessing about the Raconteurs...it will be mind blowing

The Clash (circa 1980-81).

Actually, I think Sir Seel's idea of "The Murkys" is pretty faboo.
The female v. of that, knowns as "The Murkettes" could consist of:
Liz Fraser and Alison Goldfrapp lead vocals
Tina Weymouth on bass (backing vocals)
Evelyn Glennie on percussion/vibes/bagpipes
Laurie Anderson on piano/synths (backing vocals)
Chrissie Hynde on guitar (lead and backing vocals)
