Whew ... it's truly been a whirlwind week for in-studo guests. So whirlwind, in fact, that one of them had to blow out of here almost as soon as they arrived!

Earlier today, the band Idlewild arrived and informed us that they had such a tight schedule for the day that they could only stay for a few minutes. Hey, at least you came in, guys! Most artists would just cancel, but they actually made it work. So they set up, chatted with Jill Reilly for a few minutes, played one song, and that was it! (We managed to convince them to stay long enough to play one more song for our online-only audience). It'll probably go down as the speediest guest session we've ever had here, but like I said, at least they were comitted to keeping their promise to come by. (Idlewild, by the way, was just voted the third greatest Scottish band of all time, so it was an additional honor ...).
