When we started this feature we knew we'd include the big names in
global DJing and a few unmixed sets from artists that we play, and
we have already included a few local DJ's...and we want more!
But this is the first time that we have included a mix by a 'bedroom' DJ who confesses to only being able to get a gig if there's no one else who can do it, but then he does live in L.A....EVERYONE'S a DJ!!
Rob has worked for us here in the TC's and now labors for our sister station KPCC.
When making the decision it basically all depends on whether it is a good mix of grooves, I think he did an awesome job, only four tracks but they are seamlessly woven into a tight and funky melange...
