We had a great week-end here at The Current. On Saturday we gave away 600 "goodie bags" filled with coupons and gear to supply people who are planning National Night Out block parties. Listeners who came to pick them up got to meet Mary Lucia and Thorn at their local Whole Foods store. Today, a few hosts and producers are putting the finishing touches on our programming for tomorrow night's big event. We'll have visits to the studio by the mayors of both Minneapolis and St. Paul between 4:00 and 6:00 PM, and from 6:00 - 9:00 PM we'll have music to rock your block. We'll be calling out to some block parties around the cities. It should be a lot of fun. You must be 13 or older to submit any information to Minnesota Public Radio.
