Have you noticed that during the fund drives my web log entries slow to a trickle? That's because things are extra busy, if not insane, during these periods. The phones are whirring, the elevators are filled with volunteers (thank you!) and there is extra work in every studio. We also have a meeting of the Minnesota Public Radio Board of Directors this week, which is a much-anticipated activity that requires thoughtful preparation.

We have the Eels in the studio today with Mary - we've all been looking forward to it!
