Thursday is the start of fund drive #2 on The Current. I'll be producing for Thorn all morning - we'll take over when The Morning Show crew hands us the baton at 9:00 AM. We have some very special programming ready for you throughout the drive and we hope you will tune in for some fun. If you want to volunteer we still need more people (just go to The Current's home page and click on Volunteer). We will be trying to meet and greet as many phone room volunteers as we can, and if possible we'll give some mini-tours.

Our awesome database specialist Jessica today announced that she and our brand new intern have completed the impossible -they've finished alphabetizing The Current's rapidly growing CD collection and stored all the CDs neatly on shelves. You have absolutely no idea how fantastic this is. The CDs have been in a state of chaos since last December and to have them nice and orderly is something akin to a purge-cleansing of a teen-ager's bedroom after they leave the house for college.
