« Founding Member Vinyl | Adventures in live radio » Introducing Mandy CoxApril 20, 2005 Mandy Cox has joined the 89.3 team as a part-time DJ. You can hear her this Saturday afternoon. Most recently Mandy worked for her own indie record label called 78 Recordings, and for Ultra Records and Caroline Distributions in New York City. You may also know Mandy because back in the late 90's she had a show on KFAI, the Minneapolis-based community radio station at 90.3 on the dial, called Universal Frequencies. She also interned at REV 105 during high school. Please help us welcome Mandy as she returns to the Twin Cities' airwaves! She is also helping out Thorn and the other DJs with a variety of music projects. Speaking of interns, yesterday Annie, Thorn, and I went through the resumes and applications from about 150 intern candidates. There are some amazing people who want to spend their summer with us. We are looking forward to speaking with a dozen or so finalists in the next few weeks. You must be 13 or older to submit any information to Minnesota Public Radio. Your submission may be edited for length, clarity, or content, and may be posted on this or other MPR Web sites or read on the air.
