« My tulips are blooming and Thorn's aren't | Founding Member Vinyl » We want you to go out and hear some live music!April 13, 2005 We have several really good ticket giveaways for you over the next few days. If you're listening to the new 89.3 you'll hear all about it. In fact just as I was getting organized to type the web log, Steve Seel popped onto the airwaves to start giving away Medeski, Martin, and Wood tix and I know Mary has a stash of tickets for the Sights. Wheat has something today, too and tomorrow morning The Morning Show will be giving away tickets for Michael Penn with Spaghetti Western. The e-mail newsletter has been chock full of interesting give-aways, too, which you already know if you're a subscriber (it's free). One of the great things about having our new radio station is that we can encourage you to go out and hear music live. Our local clubs and venues are bursting with great stuff in the next few weeks and we plan to tell you all about upcoming shows. When you go out and hear live music, you support the whole music economy and help make Minnesota one of the great music towns in the world. We're really happy to play a role in keeping the entire music scene not just healthy but growing. You must be 13 or older to submit any information to Minnesota Public Radio. Your submission may be edited for length, clarity, or content, and may be posted on this or other MPR Web sites or read on the air. MPR reserves the right to reuse or republish your submission, or to withhold it from publication. See Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. |
