Live from the Walker
March 25, 2005

Today I'm going over to the Walker Art Center to check out the insides of the new building and chat about some programming we're both planning over the next few months. We haven't officially announced it yet, but we are finishing up plans to broadcast live from the new Walker on 89.3 during the grand re-opening next month. There are a few logistics to work out, and we'll tell you all about it soon. The opening week-end is an extravaganza of concerts (April 16-17) and the following week-end the Walker is producing a big Ornette Coleman Festival.

Meanwhile, did you check out Annie's cool new feature, Sounds Around Town? The first one aired last night (hear it on the web) and there are more in the pipeline.

Have a good week-end. Looks like it's going to be warm and sunny.
